- Reduces the coronal dimension of the interface to create a boney lock between the ischium and the femur. 
- Stabilizes the pelvis and helps control the femur though intimate contouring around the anatomy of the pelvis and the thigh. 
- Proximal trim lines provide a kinesthetic reminder to assist in maintaining proper femoral alignment, pelvic stabilization and swing phase line of progression tracking. 
- A variety of suspensions can be utilized to ensure constant contact with the interface to minimize movement, pistoning, and femoral control. 
- Uses the entire residual limb to evenly distribute the weight bearing forces.
